No dia 16 de fevereiro, vamos conhecer os músicos vencedores do BRIT Awards 2010. A London’s Earls Court Arena será palco dos 30 anos de premiação da música inglesa. Considerado um evento “must see” da TV britânica, o Brit Awards terá um preview no dia 23 de janeiro. O The BRITs Hits 30 terá shows de Scissor Sisters, The Bee Gees, Eurythmics, The Spice Girls, The Who, Coldplay, Kanye West, Paul McCartney, Take That, Robbie Williams em dueto com Tom Jones, The Pet Shop Boys, Girls Aloud e Michael Jackson. Já a premiação terá shows de Ellie Goulding, La Roux e Pixie Lott. Neste mês no dia 23, haverá a transmissão pela ITV1 que irá divulgar o “The Hits BRIT’s 30“, um evento especial que comemora os 30 anos do Brit Awards eo público poderá votar nos sites oficiais da ITV e GMTV. No dia serão divulgadas as categorias que poderão ser votadas do dia 23 aos dia 5 de fevereiro de 2010.
A associação da indústria musical do Reino Unido BPI anunciou que a Mel B será a apresentadora da ITV que nos levará de volta aos bons tempos exibindo grandes performances de Kylie, Scissor Sisters, The Bee Gees, Eurythmics, Spice Girls, Bros, The Who, Coldplay, Kanye West, Paul McCartney, Take That, Robbie Williams duet with Tom Jones, The Pet Shop Boys, Girls Aloud e é claro, Michael Jackson.
As Spice Girls participaram de 3 edições do Brit, em 1997 com Wannabe/Who Do You Think You Are, em 1998 com Stop e em 2000 com Spice Up Your Life, Say You’ll Be There (Acappela) e Goodbye. Acredito que a escolhida será a de 1997, evento histórico onde Geri deixou sua marca ao usar o vestido da bandeira britânica.
O público terá a oportunidade de votar na sua apresentação favorita (nem precisa dizer qual será, né?) que irá correr até o dia o dia 05/02. O vencedor será convidade a comparecer no Earls Court em Londres, no dia 16 de fevereiro para receber o prêmio. “A premiação mais memorável do Brit Awards em 30 anos.”
Além disso, Mel B confirmou em seu fórum oficial que as Spice Girls tem planos para se reunir em breve e podem aproveitar o evento para anunciar isso. Será?
